In the first inning, Pickens got their offense started when an error scored two runs for Pickens.
In the bottom of the third inning, Daniel tied things up at three when Jacob Peake singled on a 3-0 count, scoring one run.
Daniel scored three runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a single by Peake and a double by Jacob Hendricks.
Jordan Spearman was credited with the victory for Daniel. He went five innings, allowing three runs on five hits, striking out five and walking zero.
Ingram took the loss for Pickens. He allowed one hit and one run over one-third of an inning.
Black started the game for Pickens. He went three innings, allowing three runs on two hits, striking out two and walking one.
Hendricks, Peake, and Christmas each collected one hit to lead Daniel.
