Daniel watched the game slip away early and couldn’t recover in a 10-2 loss to Belton-Honea Path on Tuesday. Belton-Honea Path scored on a fielder’s choice by Davis, a single by Crawford, and an error in the first inning.

The Daniel struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Belton-Honea Path, giving up ten runs.

Belton-Honea Path got things started in the first inning. Davis hit into a fielder’s choice, scoring one run.

Belton-Honea Path scored seven runs in the sixth inning. Belton-Honea Path offense in the inning was led by Bear, Patterson, Hollingsworth, and McCall, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Belton-Honea Path saw the ball well today, racking up 13 hits in the game. Lecroy, Bear, McCall, and Patterson each racked up multiple hits for Belton-Honea Path. Lecroy led Belton-Honea Path with three hits in five at bats.
