Landon Harbin was brilliant on the mound on Tuesday, as he threw a no-hitter to lead Daniel JV past Palmetto 6-0.
Daniel fired up the offense in the first inning. Hunter Herd drove in one when he doubled.
Daniel scored three runs in the third inning. Thomas Friar, Ben Gilliam, and Cameron Peppers each had RBIs in the big inning.
Harbin earned the win for Daniel. He went four innings, allowing zero runs on zero hits and striking out one.
#7 toed the rubber for Palmetto. He allowed seven hits and six runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking zero. #10 threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen.
Daniel collected seven hits on the day. Griffin Batt and Friar each had multiple hits for Daniel. Friar and Batt each managed two hits to lead Daniel. Daniel was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error. Clay Swinney had the most chances in the field with four.
