Now is the time to remember some of the Daniel greats and nominate former players, coaches, or administrators for the Daniel High School Athletic Hall of Fame, Class of 2020. There are two ways to nominate individuals,  online at https://danielathletics.com/d-w-daniel-high-school-athletics-hall-of-fame-nomination-form/ or complete the HOF Form – 2020, and return to the school.  Nominations are now being accepted through April

Last day to sign up is Feb. 13 by 5:00 p.m.!  The Athletic Department and The Tutoring Center will be hosting a free Practice ACT test for Daniel students on Friday, Feb. 14th (a teacher work day). The Tutoring Center will then set up a later time to go over the scores and show the parents/students

Congratulations to Andy Swords on bring named the 2018-19 South Carolina Girls Golf Coach of the Year by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). Coach Swords led the Lady Lions to back-to-back golf State Championships (2018 and 2019).

The Lady Lions defended their crown as state champions. The Lions played fantastic all tournament, taking a 31 shot lead into day two and growing it to win by 52. The Lions were led by Jennifer Gao and Peyton O’Brien shooting 78 and 79 respectively. Courtney Collins and Adrienne O’Brien also counted on day 1

The Daniel Girls golf team won Upper-state for a fifth consecutive season, by 42 strokes. The Lions overcame tough conditions which included a wet course and some rain early in the round.
